Zushi, Kanagawa 2007
Total Area: 165m2, Remodeled, Wood Frame, 2 Story Residence
This is a remodeled wooden-structure house in Zushi.
As the owners were living in the house while the construction was going on, the work had to be divided into three phases, and it took over two years to complete the construction.
Phase One: Approach, parking lot and entry.
Phase Two: Kitchen, toilet room and bathroom.
Phase Three: Living room, dining room, Japanese-style room and terrace.
The rich green approach through the existing trees was designed to be visually open so that it could be admired also by passing people, but security is ensured by glass, the lattice door, and the open grille shutter.
